Therapist / Social Worker- Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Seeking a full-time Therapist/Social Worker fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to provide services in Louisville and surrounding counties, including telehealth options.Must possess a Master's degree in social services and relevant licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).Experience working with children, families, and adults, with knowledge of deaf culture and the deaf and hard of hearing community.Perform clinical services such as intake, individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and expressive therapies.Maintain documentation and collaborate with external agencies, including schools and health organizations.Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and formulate diagnoses for mental health and substance abuse.Requires reliable transportation, ability to pass an ASL proficiency exam, and compliance with licensure laws.Ideal candidates are independent licensed professionals passionate about serving diverse populations, with opportunities for continued training and regional travel.
