Description CPH is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our Engineering/Transportation team in Sanford or Orlando, FL! The Project Manager plays a fundamental role in leading and overseeing projects from initiation through to successful completion. This position is responsible for driving project excellence by thoroughly coordinating the efforts of projects teams, contractors, and vendors to meet and exceed project objectives. The Project Manager ensures that every phase of the project stays to budget constraints and upholds the highest standards of quality. This role involves strategic collaboration with stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams to propel project success and align with organizational goals. The day-to-day focus on this position will include project management, client interactions, team collaboration and management, and tracking final delivery of projects. This role will include a strong project focus on local municipality projects including roadways, intersection improvements, roundabouts, Complete Streets, streetscapes, multiuse trails, pedestrian facilities, and permitting through various regulatory agencies. It will also include development of scope/fee, development of schedules, and may include participation in project pursuits (RFQ/RFP/Pre-Marketing). Duties Include Oversee and integrate the efforts of engineering teams, architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to achieve optimal project outcomes. Develop and implement strategic project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Oversee the collaborative efforts among firm disciplines, project management teams, and business development teams. Strategically develop the negotiation process and manage the planning, financial strategies, modifications or adjustments, and invoicing process. Utilizes team management skills to lead the design group during the conceptual phase of product development following CPH and client’s standards and templates. Lead project teams, providing direction and ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Conducts weekly coordination and reporting with clients and leadership, delivering detailed updates on projects and program performance regarding quality, status, schedule, and budget. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms. Valid stated-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team. Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent oral, written and organizational skills. Ability to effectively multi-task while adhering to project schedules and budgets. Strict adherence to deadlines. Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices. Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated. Education and Experience: B.S. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, electrical, or related field). At least 10+ years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (or similar) experience is a plus. Professional Engineer license in State of Florida (or ability to obtain a FL PE) is preferred Work Environment: The work environment features below are representative of those an employee meets while performing the essential functions of the role.
