Please include it in your application.Your social security number must be included in your application.If you have ANY work history... please list it and list your supervisor as a reference.If you volunteered, please DO NOT list that on your job history unless you provide a supervisor's name and list them as a reference.Please list a phone number where we can contact you.Since you are in school it will be difficult to reach you, please check your email.Primary PurposeAssist the campus/department staff with assigned daily tasks.QualificationsEducation/CertificationCurrently enrolled in high school or upper level education programSpecial Knowledge/SkillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to use good judgmentAbility to understand and comply with established proceduresKnowledge of general office equipmentBilingual PreferredExperienceNone requiredMajor Responsibilities and DutiesAssist teachers with assigned tasks including but not limited to interacting with students, making copies, assisting with breakfast, lunch, arrival, dismissal etc.Contribute to a positive school/department climate.Organize, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment and supplies.Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and state and local board policy.Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality staff development opportunities for personal growth.Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.Demonstrate integrity and ethics.Display proficient levels of technology applications.Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.Working ConditionsMental DemandsEffective verbal communicationAbility to maintain emotional control under stressPhysical Demands/Environmental FactorsFrequent standing, walking, stooping, bendingOccasional moderate to heavy liftingExposure to chemicals for cleaning
