With a commitment to evidence-based medicine, the center provides cutting-edge care through comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at our Pulaski, VA location. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work closely with the healthcare team to provide direct patient care, perform clinical evaluations, manage patient treatment plans, and participate in the development of personalized care plans. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting with procedures, educating patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring the highest quality of care in line with our evidence-based practices. Very little opioid prescribing and management. QualificationsStrong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including the ability to develop and manage comprehensive care plans.Experience assisting with medical procedures and performing routine diagnostic tasks with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for educating patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program and current PA licensure in Virginia.Board certification as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner and active DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).Experience in pain management, spine care, or physical medicine and rehabilitation is preferred but not required.Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
