Customers love shopping in our stores due to these exceptional interactions.About the role:As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive a culture of service, sales, and operational excellence. You will lead by example on the sales floor, inspire your team, and ensure the store delivers an exceptional customer experience. You will also act as the “Manager on Duty” when the Store Manager is not present, supporting both people leadership and business operations.What you'll do:Team Leadership & Operational Excellence (20%)Partner with Store Manager on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training a strong store teamMaintain a high performance standard by training the team on all SOPs, service expectations, selling skills, and Rothy's product knowledgeSupport the execution of the Division of Responsibility (DOR) program by successfully owning assigned areas of responsibilityDevelop team performance and engagement through regular floor observations, in the moment coaching, ongoing check-ins, and participation in monthly 1:1sSupport the team in daily store operations and visual merchandising to ensure a seamless customer and employee experienceCustomer Experience (80%)Lead and model Rothy's Experience through exceptional service and selling from the sales floor, actively coaching, training, and inspecting behaviors to uphold brand standardsBuild customer loyalty through effective clienteling and relationship-building on the sales floorDrive sales and key performance indicators by supporting goal-setting, celebrating wins, and reinforcing accountability through daily coachingAssist in the planning and execution of in-store events and activations that grow brand awareness, engage the local community, and drive salesSupport the team with all presentation standards including visual merchandising, cleanliness, and dress code to ensure the store meets all brand expectationsYou are:Guided by Rothy's values and committed to fostering a welcoming, service driven environment:Embrace Possibility. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.Base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
