VMWare Infrastructure Engineer
Title: VMWare Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Washington, DC- Travel to the data centres within Washington DC multiple data centre’s 4-6 times in a month Key Requirements & QualificationsExperience:Deploy and secure VMware ESXi and Veeam server images (Linux-Based)Typically, 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level IT infrastructure or systems administration.Certifications: Industry-recognized credentials such as VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional – Data Centre Virtualization) are heavily preferred.Technical Skills:Proficiency in VMware suite (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, vRealize/Aria).Working knowledge of physical hardware (Cisco UCS, Dell, HP servers and blade enclosures).Scripting and automation skills using PowerCLI / PowerShell.Familiarity with underlying network architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls) and storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
