Data Migration & Finance Manager
Our client, a leading organization in the financial and technology sector, is seeking a Data Migration & Finance Manager to join their team. As a Data Migration & Finance Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Data Migration & Finance ManagerLocation: San Jose, CaliforniaPay RangeWhat's the Job?Develop and manage comprehensive data migration strategies for finance, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation. Coordinate with Finance and IT teams to ensure alignment on migration tools and timelines, overseeing testing cycles for migrated data. Lead assessment and rationalization of current reporting inventory, designing future-state reporting strategies leveraging SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and Universal Journal capabilities. Act as the Finance lead for reporting and data migration workstreams, collaborating with project managers, external consultants, and global teams. Support change management initiatives and provide training to Finance teams on new reporting tools and processes. What's Needed?Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum of 7+ years in Finance or Accounting, with significant exposure to ERP implementations. Proven experience in data migration projects, including data quality management and validation. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Hana or similar ERP platforms. Strong knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
