You are responsible for making sure every system runs smoothly. You will make decisions, solve problems, keep your team aligned and focused on the day's goals, and make sure everyone is executing their tasks efficiently and effectively. Don't worryyou won't be alone! You will have lots of support from your team and from the Director team, to whom you'll report. Instead, we want it to be stepping stone for you where you can learn a lot on your way to bigger, better things!RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must:Be able to work between 5:30 a.m.- 11:00 p.m.Be available to work Monday through Saturday, Holidays and WeekendsBe at least 18 years oldBe able to work 40-45 hours per week. Working overtime can be required based on business needs.Have at least an associate's degree OR 3 years minimum of restaurant management or leadership experienceBe able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, being bilingual is a plus!Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite ProductsBe able to lift 50 lbs. (in the event that you need to move inventory, help unload a truck, etc.)Works outside in hot and cold elements, noisy and fast paced environmentBe able to stand for the duration of a shift 8-12 hoursHave a valid driver's licenseShould we hire you for this position, additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Being directly involved in team member development and performance issues, and contributing to discussions that involve suspension and terminationPartnering with Directors to ensure the success of quarterly team performance evaluations for team membersOpening the restaurant and overseeing the morning team's workflow and the quality of their workLeading daily huddles to keep the team engaged and informed on goals, trends, and resultsStaying informed of changes within our industry and our brandImplementing policies and procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve order accuracyServing as subject matter expert to the team in regard to hospitality, care, and FOH operationsAlleviating bottlenecks and proactively addressing and creating systems to prevent future bottlenecksHandling emergency situations (such as broken equipment, staffing issues, and inventory shortages)Daily setup for shifts so that every team member is clear on their responsibilities for the shiftAdhering to and enforcing our uniform and grooming standardsUnderstanding that the use of personal devices should be strictly restricted to business-related issues while on the clock and enforcing this policy with team membersPerks and benefits of working at Chick-fil-A:Great place to work: We believe that our people are our most valuable investment.
