Trumpf Laser Programmer

Laser Programmer (TRUMPF) We are seeking a skilled Laser Programmer with TRUMPF experience to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC laser programs to support efficient production, high-quality output, and material utilization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and enjoys working closely with both engineering and production teams.What Youll Do:Create, edit, and optimize laser cutting programs using TruTopsDevelop efficient nests to maximize material usage and minimize scrapInterpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and job specificationsSelect appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thicknessSupport TRUMPF laser machines (e.g., TruLaser series) on the shop floorTroubleshoot programming and cutting issues to maintain production flowCollaborate with machine operators and engineers for process improvementsOptimize cut paths, lead-ins, and pierce points to improve cycle timesMaintain program documentation and revision controlEnsure all parts meet quality and dimensional requirementsWhat Were Looking For:25+ years of laser programming experience (TRUMPF preferred)Strong experience with TruTops softwareAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&TKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication processesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentNice to Have:Experience in automotive or high-volume production environmentsFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)Experience with automated systems (material towers, load/unload systems)Understanding of lean manufacturing principlesPay: $32 and up to $35 a hour DOEShift: 1st shiftAbout Cardinal Staffing: At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
