Lead Python Developer

Primary Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust Python-based applications for the Federal Government.Collaborate with other IT teams, developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance and support for the adoption and testing of API Services in the client Staging Lab environment.Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions on time.Manage code quality, testing, and version control to ensure software remains reliable and maintainable.Oversee integration of 3rd party APIs and ensure efficient data flow between systems.Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in production environments.Maintain technical documentation and oversee the code review process to uphold high development standards.Minimum Education & Experience:7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python.Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least two Python web frameworks (such as Django, Flask, etc. depending on your technology stack).Proven experience in leading development teams and projectsStrong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Expertise in integrating with RESTful APIs and other web services.Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions.Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.Demonstrated success in agile development environments and familiarity with methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.Technology Stack:PythonAzure services
