NRT also has the world’s largest installed capacity in PET plastic reclamation plants.NRT has an internal-only opportunity for a Controls Project Manager.The Controls Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Software and Controls Engineering, is responsible for providing engineering expertise and technical support for electrical, automation, and factory Controls systems. This position is responsible for the project management of Controls projects from start to finish, including scheduling, deliverables, testing and project report out. This position works with multiple departments and stakeholders, travels extensively to customer sites and completes hands on work as needed in the field.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering is required. Electrical or Electronics Engineering or other related electrical or controls degree preferredMinimum of five (5) years’ experience in a comparable technical position and relational industry preferredIn depth knowledge of industrial low voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC, HMI/SCADA and industrial control networks requiredKnowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems, Factory IT Systems (physical/virtual servers, networks)Fundamental knowledge of project management and scheduling requiredWorking knowledge of optical systems plus ABB robotics experience a plusProficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Also proficient in remote meetings using TeamsExcellent customer relations and interpersonal relations skills including a high degree of diplomacyAbility to perform root-cause analysis, requiring high attention to details and excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to clearly communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing to various audiencesAbility to lead/work effectively in a team environmentResponsibilitiesManage and execute Controls projects including scope, budget and schedule, from inception, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) through signoffDevelop project scope, technical requirements/specifications, and manage overall technical scope deliverables for multiple projects running concurrentlyCoordinate with Project Managers to schedule Electrical Controls Technicians (ECTs) for onsite projectsBe responsible for scheduling of Controls deliverablesManage multiple responsibilities including project execution, functional support and self-developmentCreate, maintain and evolve an effective change order processSupport ECTs in field and/or remotely via technical expertise and mentorship, including seeking engagement and encouraging team members to proactively perform assigned tasksTravel frequently to customer locations (up to 80%) both domestic and international to support project needsAct as secondary ECT on project when neededEstablish and manage the Controls Project Reporting Template for monthly report outAssists with the development and maintenance of technical documentationCapture and provide feedback to R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing groups to improve product performance and serviceabilityBenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive benefits program including but not limited to Medical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid time off and paid holidays401(k) Plan with company matchTuition reimbursementPlease visit our career page at (www.JoinBHS.com) to apply and learn more.Work OpportunityNRT will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
