1099 Training Coordinator
Performance Development Group is working with a client who is in need of a 1099 Training Coordinator to help with operational tasks related to the delivery of their new hire and team training programs.The contract will start as soon as possible and is scheduled to run through the end of 2026. The client is expecting there to be 15-20 hours of work per week, and the work should be performed during Eastern Standard Business Hours, as the client is based on the East Coast.Role Responsibilities: The team is seeking a junior-level contract training coordinator to support the training team with a variety of operational tasks in support of the delivery of new hire and ongoing product and sales training, including:General Training Coordination: Scheduling courses, ensuring new hires have the training scheduled that is required for their roles, and supporting the training team with what is needed for them to perform their roles.LMS Administration: Assigning LMS modules, tracking assessments, managing onboarding logistics, and performing day-to-day LMS administration.LMS System Maintenance: The coordinator will be responsible for ongoing LMS maintenance, such as updating calendar invites, managing access, and ensuring that training records and assignments are up to date. A key responsibility will be to address system expiry issues and maintain compliance within the LMSLMS Product Updates: Attend bi-monthly calls with the vendor to learn about system updates and enhancements.Required Experience and Skills: 2-3 years of experience working in a training coordination or training project coordination role.2+ years of experience working with Learning Management Systems. Cornerstone OnDemand is preferred.Strong experience working with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Outlook calendaring.Self-starter who can work independently with little supervision. Someone who knows when to escalate issues and batch communication to enable all to work efficiently.Strong organization skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills
