This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, a initiative-taker, and who have experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesCapable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.Work with and train apprentices on the job.Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.Minimum QualificationsRequired:Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical systemMust be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.Must be 18 years of age or olderPreferred:Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Basic computer knowledgePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
