Preschool Cook / Kitchen Manager

The Academy of McKay's Mill is looking for a full-time Health and Wellness Coordinator for their award-winning preschool. Job Details: Monday-Friday 6:30am- 2:30pm Responsible for managing the kitchen. Specific responsibilities include: preparing and serving meals to multiple classrooms, following all allergies and dietary restrictions of students, creating a monthly menu, food order, unloading the weekly truck, cleaning/sanitizing of kitchen and center common areas including restrooms, occasional time in a classroom as needed Our ideal candidate would have experience both with food/nutrition and working with young children. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience preparing and serving meals. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families are essential. Creativity, initiative, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are desirable.
