This role would be responsible for answering the main phone number and supporting the reception desk in an assigned office or departmental setting.We Are Currently Looking For aSplish Splash Guest Support SpecialistRoles & ResponsibilitiesGreet all employees that visit the reception area in a friendly mannerProvide exceptional customer service to all employees or guests by greeting them with a smile and assisting with their questions or concernsAnswer incoming guest calls in a timely and professional manner.Utilize Park communications devices to relay relevant information to Safety, Security, or other team members or leadersResolve any questions guests or employees may have, or direct them to the appropriate personRepresent the Company well internally and externally convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliatesRespond and handle guest inquiries through website via SalesforceAssist with payment plan reconciliation and collections as well as refunds in conjunction with the Finance TeamPerform a wide variety of administrative tasks and data entryUtilize general office equipment to perform various administrative tasks (telephones, PC, POS, credit card machine, camera, cash register, etc.)Assist with scheduling and timekeeping for assigned hourly employeesEnter and receive Purchase Orders into Workday systemAssist with Inventory Transfers in the Workday systemKeep assigned reception and office areas neat, clean, organized, and sanitaryAssist with reuniting guests with their lost belongings in Lost & FoundPromptly escalate any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to the proper authoritiesAll other duties as assigned by leadershipPay Rate: $18.50 / hr.Education & Work ExperienceHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent Equivalent work experience will also be considered1+ years of administrative work experience preferred but not required.Previous phone or customer service experience a plusPrevious amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience a plusLanguageAbility to read, write, and speak fluent EnglishSpanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to portray a positive, professional attitudeMust be proactive, a quick learner, and collaborate well in the workplaceAbility to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel and guestsMust be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, and copierAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to remain seated for extended periods of time, while using a computerAbility to stand or walk for long periods of time throughout the workdayAbility to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreAbility to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/toolsWorking ConditionsThis role will be primarily based in an office setting with frequent interaction with other outdoor park locationsFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditionsSubject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environmentsSubject to dust, dirt, and cleaning/laundry chemicalsTeam Member BenefitsWorking at Splish Splash is about making people happy!
