Apply via Dice today!Role: NodeJS Tech Lead (Need W2 Resource Only)Location: Hartford, CTDuration Long TermJob DescriptionLead the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure web applications.Proven enterprise integration experience across multiple systems, including real-time validation and workflow orchestration Experience in regulated environments;Optimize application performance by fine-tuning server configurations, implementing caching strategies, and utilizing performance monitoring tools. Experience building RESTful APIs and standardsOversee the deployment of applications to AWS cloud platform using Jenkins, Urbancode, and Terraform. Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and automated deployment processes.Conduct thorough code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and enforce coding standards and best practices. Knowledge of security/compliance needs, audit logging, and traceability Strong observability and operational reliability background (monitoring, alerting, batch visibility, incident reduction, RCA)Develop and maintain unit tests using frameworks like Jest to ensure code quality. Analyze, design, and develop technical requirements, and resolve complex defects and incidents. Utilize Jira for project management and ServiceNow for incident management. Integrate and manage Snyk or Black Duck for continuous security monitoring and vulnerability management. Facilitate ceremonies, manage backlog/refinement with Product Owner, remove impediments, and drive sprint commitments and metrics (velocity/burn-down) Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience NodeJS with 8+ years in a software development role and at least 4 years leading team. Databases: MongoDB, SQL Server/PostGres. UI Frameworks: React.js.Backend: Node.jsDevOps: Jenkins, Urbancode (UCD). Cloud: AWS/OCF
