CNC Machining ManagerFremont, CA (On-site)Full-timeROLE SUMMARY:The CNC Machining Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of ATM's machine shop — owning production scheduling, quality output, equipment utilization, and team performance. You will be the bridge between sales-driven RFQ demands and shop-floor execution, working closely with our quoting and sales team to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct daily shop floor operations and production schedulingProgram, set up, and oversee 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathesManage and mentor a team of machinists and operatorsEnsure on-time delivery and adherence to customer specificationsMaintain and enforce ISO quality standards and inspection protocolsReview engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing tolerancesCollaborate with sales/quoting team on capacity and lead timesManage tooling inventory, equipment maintenance, and shop 5S standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and scrapRequired:5+ years CNC machining experience; 2+ years in a supervisory roleProficiency in CNC programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software)Strong GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading skillsExperience with Haas, Mazak, or Fanuc-controlled machinesWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systemsHands-on leader with strong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred:Aerospace, defense, or medical device machining backgroundFamiliarity with DFARS material requirementsExperience with ERP/MES or digital quoting platforms (e.g., AMFG)AS9100 or ITAR compliance experience a strong plus
