Job Overview GSG Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced *E-Learning Developer II* to support a Texas state agency with the implementation of a statewide *Public Health Electronic Health Record (PH EHR)* system. This is a senior-level instructional development and training role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying engaging computer-based and interactive e-learning curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong instructional design experience, hands-on e-learning development skills, and experience creating training for software, technology systems, or large-scale system implementations. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and deploy computer-based and interactive e-learning courses and training modules. * Create engaging learning content using audio, video, animation, narrated presentations, podcasts, webcasts, simulations, and virtual learning environments. * Develop training materials to support the implementation and adoption of the Public Health EHR system. * Partner with the PH EHR Coordinator, subject matter experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to identify training needs. * Conduct training needs assessments and help establish curriculum and training schedules. * Develop role-based training for users of IT applications and technology systems. * Evaluate e-learning curriculum, learner performance, and training effectiveness. * Recommend and implement improvements to learning objectives, course content, and delivery methods. * Review e-learning materials for compliance with state and federal accessibility requirements. * Assist with remediation of accessibility issues in online training content. * Create clear, user-friendly learning resources that help employees successfully use new systems and applications. Required Skills & Experience Candidates should have professional experience in *instructional design and e-learning development*, preferably supporting technology or software implementations. Strong candidates will have experience with: * Instructional design and adult learning principles * E-learning course and curriculum development * Training needs assessments * Software or IT application training * Interactive learning development * Learning management systems (LMS) * Multimedia training content * Training effectiveness evaluation * Written and verbal communication * Collaboration with subject matter experts and technical teams Preferred Background Experience in any of the following areas would be highly valuable: * Electronic Health Record/EHR or EMR system training * Healthcare or public health training * Enterprise software implementations * State or local government * Large-scale technology deployments * Learning and development programs in regulated environments Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has *3–5+ years of instructional design or e-learning development experience* and has personally created interactive digital training for software, applications, or enterprise systems.
