Senior Application Developer

Senior Application Developer Remote 12 month contract (potential to extend) $60-75/hr Overview The Senior Application Developer, Full Stack is responsible for designing, building, and deploying enhancements and new applications supporting manufacturing execution systems. This role focuses on developing scalable solutions across local, networked, and cloud-based environments while ensuring high performance, reliability, and usability. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including project teams, business analysts, and end users—to deliver high-quality software solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise, clear communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into technical specifications Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using modern programming languages and frameworks Perform code integration, debugging, and ongoing application enhancements Create and maintain documentation for software development, deployment, and maintenance procedures Partner with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices Participate in on-call/support rotation to maintain 24/7 application availability Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR 7+ years of relevant application development or engineering experience Experience 4–6+ years of hands-on software development experience Strong experience with PL/SQL and Oracle APEX Experience with development tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar Proven ability to work in cross-functional, collaborative environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with MES (manufacturing execution systems) Core Technical Skills Database Management Systems Full Stack / Front-End Development Programming Languages (including SQL-based technologies) Cloud Platforms and Technologies Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Deployment) APIs and Web Services Systems Integration Software Testing & QA (including automated testing) Containerization and version control tools Data analysis and troubleshooting Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
