Job Description Job Opportunity: General GastroenterologistOur organization is seeking dedicated general gastroenterologists to become part of our expanding Division of Gastroenterology. You will be joining a dynamic team that provides care for a diverse array of complex gastroenterology patients throughout northeastern New York.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including colorectal, oncologic, and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists, and staff at an on-site infusion clinic.Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures.Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities.QualificationsMD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and either board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology.Experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $450,000 to $500,000, along with opportunities for incentive bonuses.About Our Health SystemOur health system is the only regionally governed not-for-profit entity serving northeastern New York and western New England.
