The role is based on-site in St. Louis, MO.  This role involves identifying and prioritizing production requirements, and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to ensure timely and efficient production. Specific Responsibilities:Address a variety of issues of limited scope and complexity by adhering to established policies and procedures for scheduling and coordinating the flow of parts, materials, and work within or between departments. Maintain both manual and computerized records, including production schedules and material inventory.Collaborate with department supervisors to review master production schedules, work orders, and departmental production schedules. Determine material requirements, identify overdue materials, and track materials for the assigned production department.Work with department leadership to assess the impact of labor, parts, and material shortages on schedules. Coordinate schedule revisions with planning to adjust priorities as needed.Analyze and adjust production schedules to meet organizational needs.Inform Customer Service promptly about potential late shipments.Update and maintain master data to ensure the proper functioning of the organization's business system. Investigate and resolve issues related to master data.Assist Sales and Customer Service in determining the best possible delivery dates for customers, balancing constraints such as other orders, materials, workforce, and machine availability.Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, decrease inventories, improve service levels, and enhance machine utilization.Contribute to creating a safe and healthy working environment by following safety instructions, using provided equipment, and reporting any unsafe practices or hazardous conditions immediately.Manage orange card inventory adjustments.Run daily production planning downloads, update the access database with various inventory information, and complete production order confirmations in SAP.Print process orders for review by the R&D department.Review partial and sub-standard inventories.QualificationsHigh School diploma required.SAP experience preferred. Previous experience in the manufacturing industryExperience with Microsoft Office
