Electronics and Appliance RetailersInvestigation and Security ServicesFacilities Support ServicesBusiness Support ServicesInsurance and Employee Benefit FundsPosition OverviewInternational has an exciting new opportunity for a Warranty Returns Center Operations Manager to join our team at our Advanced Technology Center in Elmendorf, TX near San Antonio.As a Warranty Returns Center Operations Manager for Navistar, you will manage the team responsible for check in and validation of warranty claims and/or returned material analysis/inspection, as well as, their associated reviews and supplier return shipments.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and Execution:Adapts and executes business plans.Contributes to the development of departmental strategies.Ensures decisions align with functional strategies and priorities.Team ManagementProvides direct on-site supervision for a team of 5+ professionals.Defines, adjusts, and maintains team operating standards and priorities.Provides direction to junior employees and makes decisions within established policies.Trains and develops employees, sets performance objectives, conducts reviews, and recommends pay actions.Acts as advisor to the department lead and assists with deadlines and issues.Resource ManagementControls planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense priorities.Recommends and implements changes to methods.Provides input on resource planning and policy development.Communication and Collaboration:Motivates, persuades, and collaborates with junior supervisors and peers.Conducts presentations on projects or schedules.Provides input on resource planning and policy development.Problem-Solving And Decision-MakingExercises judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.Makes decisions without clear precedent on occasion.Ensures incorrect decisions or failures don't cause work plan delays.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and at least 4 years of field service, engineering, product management or reliability experienceORMaster's degree and at least 2 years of field service, engineering, product management or reliability experienceORAt least 6 years of field service, engineering, product management or reliability experienceAdditional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
