Position Title: Payroll SpecialistLocation: Leesburg, VA (Hybrid)Assignment Type: Temp-to-PermanentCompensation: $27-$32/hr.Work Schedule: M-F 9-5Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).Job Description:Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a growing organization in the Northern Virginia area. This position will support payroll operations in a fast-paced environment and work closely with HR and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:Process and support weekly payroll operations for a multi-employee workforceReview employee timecards, hours worked, payroll deductions, and adjustments for accuracyAssist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolutionMaintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulationsPartner with HR and benefits teams to support employee records and payroll-related changesRespond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with onboarding and offboarding payroll activitiesSupport payroll reporting and process improvement initiativesUtilize payroll systems and Excel to manage payroll data and reporting functionsQualifications:1+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environmentExperience processing payroll and reviewing payroll deductions, adjustments, and auditsStrong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skillsExperience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Rippling, or similar platformsExcellent organizational, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectivelyMulti-state payroll experience is a plusAdditional Information:Hybrid schedule with a combination of onsite and remote workExcel assessment required during the interview processBackground check requiredEEO Statement:Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
