Position Type:Administration/Assistant PrincipalDate Posted:4/21/2026Location:Dublin Middle SchoolDate Available:07/01/2026School Improvement SpecialistDublin Middle SchoolPosition PurposeWork directly with Building Level Administrator and Leadership Team to implement strategies and activities that support school improvement plans with an emphasis on behavior interventions and RTIQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in educationAt least five years of teaching experience in a public school settingExperience training teachers to use intervention strategies for academic and behavioral success for all students.GaPSC Tier I Leadership certification or experience is preferredBehavior Intervention Endorsement PreferredExperience implementing the Response To Intervention Process at the school levelREPORTS TO:School PrincipalPERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:Develops and leads the school in progress monitoring for all students.Collaborates with teachers in developing appropriate RTI strategies in their classrooms.Conduct walk-throughs to ensure differentiation of instruction is being utilized in the classroom setting.Support teachers in the implementation of the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) through a standards based classroom structure.Assist with universal screenings to target groups in need of specific instructional support.Analyze data to identify school level needs to ensure all students will be successful.Analyze data to identify students that have chronic discipline problems and teachers in need of classroom management assistance.Conduct informal and formal observation of teachers to provide feedback for the success of all students.Coordinates, supports, and evaluates professional learning for Response to Intervention.Assist the building level administrator in maintaining an environment conducive for learning for all students.Assesses present developmental levels in critical domain areas for the purpose of implementing behavior intervention plans.Confers/Interacts with pro9gram specialists for the purpose of completing appropriate assessments, documentation, and activities related to behavior intervention plans.Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of behavior management plans for students.Attends all RTI/Behavior related meetings, conferences, and workshops.Ensures adherence to all state and federal guidelines at the school level.Maintains a focus on the School Improvement Plan and monitors progress on reaching targets outlined in the School Balanced Score Card.Performs other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.210 Day Contract
