UNEW is currently looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our growing team. You will support the design, development, and inspection of a wide variety of complex parts. Visit our website at www.unew.com.Responsibilities:Perform inspections of a wide variety of complex parts using state of the art computer aided inspection techniquesInterface with Senior Engineering personnel to coordinate inspection of partsPrepare required inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications in accordance with established ISO17025 proceduresProvide technical support to Integrated Product Development team and all UNEW design and development activitiesReview all designed products for conformance to UNEW standardsPrepare and/or edit detailed drawings and completed mechanical drawings and layouts of components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposesDevelop CAD models from scan data using state of the art reverse engineering softwareDisposition of Non Conforming hardwareRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering0-2 years' experienceKnowledge of basic engineering principlesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with CAD software, Siemens NX a plusScripting experience, a plusWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
