Champion Aerospace LLCJob Description Job Title: Receiving InspectorDepartment: QualityReports To: Quality ManagerShift/Schedule: First Shift; Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays SUMMARY OF POSITION Under general supervision, perform Quality Department duties as needed including, receiving inspection and conformance to print, material and specification requirements. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/COMPETENCIES Ensure products comply with the requirements described in work instructions, blueprints, specifications and procedures.Must have a complete understanding of the quality system.Must be proficient with all measuring devices and techniques common to the department.Full dimensional layout and FAIR completion ability are required.Must be able to perform a visual inspection of parts based on subjective criteria with comparison to the Champion workmanship visual standards.Over time may be required.Certification to IPC-A-610 will be required for PCB solder inspections.Responsible for all aspects, as directed, of quality production support for the company including, but not limited to, the following:Primary duties include receiving inspection.Perform 1st piece inspection for purchased products.Gather gages for calibration as required.Perform audits of production as required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Demonstrated ability to read blueprints including GD&T.Demonstrated ability to use precision instruments and gages in department.Able to lift 50 pounds consistentlyMust be able to read and write proficiently in English.Willingness to work overtime as required in support of monthly sales goals.Solder certification to J standard and/or IPC610 training a plus.
