They are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support 4 attorneys with title curative work in the oil and gas sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex mineral title opinions and legal research in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProofread and format mineral title opinionsCreate ownership tabulations based on recorded instruments such as deeds and leasesPrepare and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for title research and ownership trackingResearch and obtain recorded documentsAssist attorneys with various tasks related to title curativeReview, file, and follow up on client correspondenceResearch case law or statutes related to title mattersQualifications1+ years of relevant experience working in oil and gas, title insurance, or a law firm (oil & gas)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelAttention to detail, strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to take direction and work independently are criticalStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of land descriptionsKnowledge of real property, oil and gas, and legal terminologyKnowledge of oil and gas lease provisionsSeniority LevelAssociateEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionLegalJ-18808-Ljbffr
