This role assists Pursuit Specialists by managing overflow work, coordinating proposal logistics, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. The Pursuit Coordinator collaborates with internal teams and external partners to gather content, maintain proposal documentation, and uphold brand standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive team player looking to grow within a dynamic marketing and business development environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Pursuit Specialists in preparing responses to Letters of Interest (LOI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQ)Support proposal schedules by coordinating meetings, tracking deadlines, and distributing notes and action itemsHelp compile and format proposal content, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and brand standardsDraft and edit non-technical proposal sections such as resumes, project descriptions, and company overviewsMaintain and update marketing databases, including CRM and ERP systems, with project and proposal informationOrganize and archive proposal materials for future reference and reuseCollaborate with the Creative Specialist to incorporate visual elements and ensure consistency in designProofread and edit documents for grammar, clarity, and consistencyParticipate in strategy and planning sessions to understand pursuit goals and support executionActively develop content through writing and editingAccurate use of corporate brand standards, templates, instructions, manuals, and documentsProvide general administrative support to the pursuit team as neededOther projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretionSpecial Knowledge, skills and abilities:Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the Adobe Creative application InDesignUnderstanding of proposal and procurement processes preferredExperience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software preferredExcellent written and verbal communicator with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, clarity, readability, and content consistencyValues building internal and external professional relationshipsPositive, professional attitude, take pride in work, superior attention to detailCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communicator Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced setting Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Communications, or related field or equivalent relevant experience requiredMinimum 1 year of proposal experience within the A/E/C industry (preferred)Previous experience with grant writing or proposal writing for engineering, construction, architecture, or consulting preferredStrong writing backgroundLicense and Certification:N/AWork Environment:PEC values a healthy work environment, and we focus on working efficiently and collaboratively to ensure quality and productive work as well as quality time away from the office. Duties involved require moving materials that weigh up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
