This role includes performing pre- and post-operation inspections, basic equipment maintenance, and following established safety protocols. Operators work closely with crew members to coordinate machine movements and ensure high-quality results for customers. Agentis Plumbing's Excavation Division offers opportunities for performance incentives and long-term career growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate various types of power construction equipment including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes. Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections; monitor fluid levels; perform basic cleaning and greasing. Report any equipment malfunctions or required repairs to a supervisor. Follow all safety procedures and inspect work areas for hazards. Communicate clearly with crew members using hand or audio signals to coordinate work. Clear and grade land, excavate trenches, move materials such as dirt and gravel, and prepare job sites. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.Experience and Skills: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Physical ability to perform strenuous labor in various weather and jobsite conditions. Strong coordination and dexterity to operate heavy equipment safely and precisely. Attention to detail when monitoring gauges and machinery performance. Critical thinking and decision-making skills for responding to changing site conditions. Adaptability to demanding worksites, weather changes, and varied project requirements. CDL Class A Preferred, not required. OSHA Certification Preferred, not required.Physical Demands: Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual labor. Ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.Work Environment: Outdoor jobsite environment with exposure to dirt, debris, varying weather conditions, and equipment noise. In-person role based in Bethlehem, PA (18017). Must be able to commute and/or relocate prior to employment. Willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred).
