Hand Occupational Therapist - OutpatientLocation: Hillsboro, Oregon (Onsite)Job Type: Full-Time | Day ShiftThe Hand Occupational Therapist - Outpatient is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with upper extremity (hand and arm) conditions, helping them regain function, mobility, and independence. This role focuses on delivering specialized occupational therapy services tailored to individual patient needs in an outpatient setting.As part of Providence Health & Services, you will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to whole-person care and rehabilitation excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat patients with hand and upper extremity conditionsDevelop individualized therapy plans to improve function and independenceProvide therapeutic interventions including mobility, strength, and coordination exercisesEducate patients and families on treatment plans and home care strategiesMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teamsMaintain accurate clinical documentationEnsure compliance with safety, clinical, and regulatory standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programOregon Occupational Therapist License - Required upon hireBLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required upon hireAbility to manage diverse patient conditions and treatment plansPreferred QualificationsExperience in hand therapy or upper extremity rehabilitationOutpatient therapy experienceStrong patient care and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team
