Wealth Management Internship: Summer 2026
Each year, we invite 3–5 college Juniors, Seniors, or post-grad CFP® candidates to explore a career in financial planning and wealth management through our Wealth Management Internship. Interns are fully integrated into one of our advisory teams, where they receive technical training, one-on-one mentoring, and valuable networking opportunities.As a Wealth Management Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience by contributing to strategy sessions, joining client meetings, and taking ownership of a key project. WJA is also proud to be one of the Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors by Investment News.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation for client meetings by preparing a high volume of Investment Review books for clients, reviewing compliance paperwork, and meeting summariesHelp prepare financial plans, reviews, reports and client presentationsPerform investment and other project researchInput data into financial planning software (eMoney and Morningstar)Observe client investment and planning meetings Perform stock compliance and trade review, as neededCreate and analyze performance reports for investment committee meetingsCompile and research technical analysis using Dorsey Wright Point & Figure methodologyAttend weekly Financial Planning and Investment team meetingsLearn how to identify qualified prospects for business development purposes, as neededQualificationsFinance, Business, Accounting, or Financial Planning major preferredMinimum GPA of 3.2 requiredHighly interested in a career in Wealth Management or Financial PlanningDemonstrated track record of initiativeStrong technology, research and organizational skillsEnjoys research and analysisConfident, poised and professional in appearanceCapable of taking on creative challenges and tight deadlinesWhat We OfferPaid Internships:Undergraduates: $18/hourGraduates, Post Grad, MBA: $21/hourCollaborative, Positive TeammatesMentorship ProgramRewarding Work that MattersPowered by JazzHR
