Toyota of Portland, a dealership part of the O'Brien Auto Group, is looking for Vehicle Acquisition Specialists to join the team. This position is paid 100% commission of personal production and unit counts or state Min Wage, whichever is greater. The percentages start at 25% and go up to 50% based off production.Subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits:BonusesVacation - based on hire date and paid based on positionMedical/Dental/Vision/RXAncillary Benefits such as Short/Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, Spousal/Child coverages401(k) plus company matchResponsibilities to Include:Purchase Inventory in a manner consistent with the needs and wants of our Customers and Sales ConsultantsTo Maintain a 45-day turn-wholesale, all cars that have not been test-driven at 20 daysTo buy and sell cars for the purpose of wholesale profit to offset wholesales lossesTo obtain the highest bids possible on trades we will not keepAssist all manager in appraising trade-insAssist in reconditions of trades to get them through the show in a timely manner, as well as purchased carsStock in and complete all of the needed paperwork on purchased vehiclesKeep salespeople up to date on purchases as well as trade-insWalk inventory at least once a week and make sure vehicles are Presentable.Check Inventory daily on AAX/Inventory softwareAssist Sales Managers on AppraisalsHelp with re-pricing when they hit 20 to 25 days oldAssist managers in merchandising, marketing and pricing advertising and closing dealsTo Reach an immediate goal of 90 Pre-Owned Retail per month with steady growth eventually hitting and maintaining 100 per monthPerform other duties assigned to managementRegular attendance is essential Follow schedule provided by the Pre-Owned ManagerWork in a cooperative, positive and professional mannerMaintain professional demeanor while at workConform to all company regulations and policiesEquipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: phone, computer, adding machine, copier, calculator, stapler, fax machine, pencils/pens, letter opener, scissors, and rulers.Physical Demands: Required long periods (80-90% of workday) of standing and walking (on showroom floor, on dealership lot including interior and exterior of building). Capable of walking extensively on concrete. Infrequent sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Lifting 20lbs or less and carrying 10lbs or less on a frequent basis. Frequent pushing and pulling, twisting and turning of trunk, reaching and handling of objects, occasional climbing, balancing and crawling.Candidates for this position must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background screening and motor vehicle record review.
