Senior Sql Database Administrator

Location: Jackson, Mississippi (On-site)

Employment Type: Contract

Required Qualifications: 10+ years of Natural programming and ADABAS database experience, including online and batch processing using JCL/SCL.4+ years of experience with automated eligibility determination systems.3+ years of experience providing system architecture expertise.3+ years of experience recommending system and process enhancements.3+ years of experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.2+ years of knowledge of SNAP/TANF eligibility policies, economic assistance programs, and applicable state and federal mandates.2+ years of experience implementing state and federal mandates in Linux-based systems.2+ years of experience promoting system changes from testing through production.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with Jira Software. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating to newer technologies. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
