CNC Operator / Machinist

Description:Geo-Flo Corporation, an Aalberts company, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Bedford, Indiana. This position is responsible for operating and setting up CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, performing inspections, troubleshooting machining issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC lathes, mills, routers, and related equipmentPerform machine setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsConduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring equipmentMonitor product quality and make adjustments as neededTroubleshoot machining and tooling issuesMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaSupport continuous improvement and process optimization initiativesAssist with preventive maintenance activities on CNC equipment Requirements: QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious CNC machining experience requiredAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerancesExperience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with HAAS CNC equipmentExperience performing complete machine setupsUnderstanding of G-code and CNC programmingExperience with first article inspectionsManufacturing experience in a low-volume, high-mix environmentPIe017b3ac326e-26289-40719572
