Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and databases, ensuring the availability and performance of data for analysis. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.Build and maintain data infrastructure including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.Optimize data processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different datasets.Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of data systems, ensuring optimal reliability and scalability.Implement best practices in data management, storage, and security.Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and recommend improvements to current systems.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink).Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards.Experience with API integrations and data services.
