MRI Technologist - Panama City

Job Description A 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist. The facility is certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, home to the only Level III NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region.The role. The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) for the purpose of detecting pathology. The technologist operates and regulates MRI and x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, processes images, and organizes them within the PACS system. The position requires applied knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts spanning head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging.What we're looking for.Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required1 year minimum MRI experience required; 3 years MRI experience preferredFL State Registered Radiologic Technician LicenseARRT (R) & (MR) RequiredBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLSSchedule. Weekend shift coverage (Friday 10:00 AM–10:30 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM–9:30 PM), with on-call as needed, a 2-hour minimum callback, and time-and-a-half callback pay.Compensation. $32.00 - $44.00/hr plus $5,000 sign-on bonus
