Independently responsible for the successful execution of all contract obligations and labor agreements at the assigned site and ensures that all work is performed in a safe and productive manner and in accordance with the quality standards of both the customer and D&Z. Serves as the principal contact to the customer for day-to-day operational issues and business development opportunities. Effectively manages relationships with local labor officials and key client stakeholders; responsible for maintaining internal and external industry knowledge and best practices through continuous learning and development.Essential Job FunctionsResponsible for the overall safety of staff and craft employees at the assigned site. Accountable for developing, implementing and evaluating the site safety plan and the Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) program.Directs, delegates, and executes work through others at site safely, within budget, and in accordance with terms of contract, while providing input to the strategy for site execution plans and project performance improvement. Develops the Customer communication plan and determines organizational approach to meet customer needs. Has a strong understanding of labor management and workforce development.Responsible for strategically executing the contract to the financial benefit of the company. Independently manages, creates, and provides accurate estimates and project scope. Extensive knowledge of finance and cost controls as well as earned value.Oversees orientation and development of onsite staff and craft employees, including employee relations, human performance and productivity, performance management and employment management. Develops and implements contingency plans to address specific executional needs.Responsible for building strong Customer relationship network and acts as subject-matter expert for all aspects of contract services and contractual obligations.Resolves significant contractual issues with Customer and subcontractor/vendor representatives.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with Customer, site staff and craft employees and recommend process improvements to key Customer leadership contacts, specifically within a matrix organization. Strong knowledge and understanding of labor management and how to apply regulatory guidelines to practice.Ability to identify successors, coach, and provide development opportunities to employees.Ability to negotiate skillfully and use effective listening skills to identify concerns.Strong knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and labor relations.Extensive knowledge of finance and cost controls.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred.Minimum of 8-10+ years experience in the power industry, preferably nuclear.Completion of Journeyman Program and/or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience required; PMP Certification preferred.Salary RangeIn compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $96,000 - $210,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
