Loan Admin Representative

Responsibilities include providing administrative assistance to loan officers throughout the loan origination and loan servicing processes regarding consumer, commercial and agricultural loans· Provides comprehensive verbal and written reports to VP of Loan Administration and/or loan officers on loan file status, document exceptions, and portfolio accuracy.· Perform general word processing, balance sheet preparation, and filings for loan officers· Collecting financial information· Prepare loan documents with high level of accuracy· Scan and maintain credit files· Receive and post loan payments· Book loans onto the system· Perfect and maintain all loan collateral· Review and maintain legal documentation, title reports, insurance policies, flood certificates, etc.· Create and maintain ticklers for outstanding documentation· Work cooperatively with Loan Services Department and Loan Officers to ensure proper documentation in an effective and efficient manner· Actively participate in customer, community, and public relation activities to increase the bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities· Cross-sell the bank’s services to customers· Comply with bank policies, operations, security procedures and Bank regulations· Assist customers with loan-related questions, documents and payments· Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank operations by keeping information confidential· Work with the supervisor for changes in processing software, procedures and regulations· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisorKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of computers, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to use general office machinesAbility to work in a team environmentDemonstrated interest in and ability to work with customers & coworkersWillingness to learnMaintain a pleasant and positive attitudeAbility to communicate through written and verbal skillsRepresent the attributes of a banker (enthusiastic, courtesy, teamwork, loyalty, accuracy, confidentiality, compassion and welcoming).Attention to detail and accuracyBasic math skills; calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divideIdeal for someone who loves to stay organized, thrives on efficiency, and wants to see the tangible results of their hard work by helping people with their loan(s).QualificationsAssociate’s degree with 1-3 years of loan administration experience orHigh School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of loan administration experience orEquivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by bank management.
