Client Service Associate — Boutique Multifamily OfficeLocation: San Diego, CAWorkplace type: In-office initially, with hybrid flexibility based on performanceEmployment type: Full-timeThe OpportunityA boutique multifamily office and SEC-registered investment adviser in San Diego is seeking a Client Service Associate to handle day-to-day client service and operations. We manage approaching $500 million for a small group of high-net-worth families, and we are looking for someone who can become the operational backbone of the firm and grow with us over time.This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role on a small team where your work directly affects the client experience. You will work alongside the principals and have meaningful exposure to every part of the business.Who We’re Looking ForWe want someone who is a Schwab Advisor Center power user — comfortable navigating account opening, transfers, money movement, document uploads, and the day-to-day mechanics of advisor-side custodial work. If you can do those things in your sleep, we want to talk to you.Beyond that, we are looking for someone who is:•      Reliable and dependable — the kind of person who closes loops without being reminded•      Smart and curious — picks up new systems and processes quickly•      Ambitious — wants to grow into a senior client service or operations role over time•      Professional and discreet — comfortable interacting with HNW families and outside professionalsWhat You’ll Do•      Day-to-day client service for our family clients, including account servicing, transfers, money movement, and document handling•      Own the Schwab Advisor Services relationship and operational workflows•      Coordinate with clients’ outside professionals (CPAs, attorneys, insurance advisors)•      Support quarterly client reporting and review cycles•      Maintain client records and operational documentation•      Partner with the principals on process improvement and firm operationsRequired•      2-5 years of experience at an RIA, family office, or Schwab/comparable custodian•      Strong working knowledge of Schwab Advisor Center (or equivalent custodian platform)•      Bachelor’s degree•      Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn new tools (Black Diamond, etc.)Preferred•      Experience with Black Diamond or another performance reporting platform•      Progress toward CFP, ChFC, or comparable designation•      Direct experience supporting HNW or UHNW client relationshipsCompensation and Benefits•      Base salary range: $85,000 – $125,000 depending on experience•      Performance bonus and full benefits•      Support for CFP or other professional designations•      Direct exposure to firm principals and meaningful scope from day one•      Long-term growth runway in a stable, growing firm Interested candidates should apply with a resume and brief note on why this role interests them.
