Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Data Analyst to support the development of a scalable financial analytics function within Finance. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to build strong technical skills, learn financial data concepts, and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making across the company. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity, a willingness to learn, and foundational technical skills in data analytics. This individual will work closely with senior analysts, Finance leadership, and cross‑functional partners to support reporting, analysis, and visualization needs as our financial analytics capabilities continue to grow. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analytics Support Assist in building and maintaining financial and operational data models that support forecasting, planning, and performance evaluation. Support senior team members in analyzing revenue, margins, operating metrics, and business drivers. Help translate financial data into clear, structured analysis that supports Finance and business partner needs. Contribute to initial efforts to incorporate predictive or diagnostic analytics into financial workflows. Data Visualization & Reporting Develop and update dashboards and reports that deliver timely, accurate insights to Finance teams and business stakeholders. Support efforts to standardize key financial metrics, definitions, and reporting terminology. Use data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Qlik, or similar) to present data in a clear, intuitive way. Collaboration & Business Partnership Work closely with Finance, Global Sales, and Corporate FP&A teams to ensure aligned, reliable financial data. Coordinate with IT and data engineering teams to support data quality, data validation, and foundational data governance initiatives. Assist with training or knowledge‑sharing as Finance increases the use of analytical tools and data‑driven processes. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data processes and streamline data preparation. Support enhancements to forecasting, reporting, and planning workflows by applying modern analytics techniques. Stay current on emerging tools, visualization techniques, and analytics best practices. Skills: Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI), Oracle Analytics Cloud, Python (Programming Language), Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau (Software) Education & Experience: No previous professional experience | Required Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $93,660.00 Pay Range Explained: This role in Livermore, California pays between $71,400.00 and $93,660.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
