Maintenance Supervisor

The Hillsboro Club, an exclusive oceanfront private residence club in South Florida, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support the Engineering Department at our gorgeous property. This position will be responsible for supervising the daily operations and maintenance of all club facilities, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure. We are looking for someone with hospitality experience, high energy and a passion to contribute to the continued success of our luxury property.The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.**The ideal candidate for this role must be available to work mornings, evenings and weekends**This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive paid, issued biweekly. We also offer opportunities for advancement within the company.General RequirementsOversee and perform ongoing course maintenance activities.Completes minor repair on equipment.Operates and maintains equipment.Maintains equipment inventory.Trains personnel in ongoing course maintenance activities.Selects, trains, supervises, schedules and evaluates assigned personnel.Maintains parts and supplies inventory.Assists in the development of equipment purchase specifications.Performs safety orientation and ongoing safety training for all department staff.Supervises Maintenance Shop and runs operations in the absence of Golf Course Director.Attend staff meetings.Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Maintenance.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 1-2 years of experience as a painter and general maintenance tasks in a hospitality/restaurant setting.Excellent painting and drywall repair skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, power tools, minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures.Ability to work independently and follow instructions.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending and reaching.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.Our BenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceSupplemental Insurance for Short Term Disability, AD&D, and More401k Retirement Plan Plus Company MatchPaid VacationPaid HolidaysEmployee Meals ProvidedJury Duty LeaveBereavement PayDirect DepositWho we are:Hillsboro Club VideoFounded in 1925, The Hillsboro Club is a private residence club for members and their guests in South Florida.
