Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer.Location: Warrenton, VA or Lorton, VAWork Model: On-site, 5 days per week in a SCIF environmentSecurity Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance within the last 24 months is mandatoryStart Date: ImmediateRequired ServiceNow ExpertiseWhile the current focus is on the ITSM module, the environment is expanding into additional areas, including:ITAMITOMITSM Backend DevelopmentService Catalog DevelopmentRole: Senior ServiceNow DeveloperDepartment: Technical ServicesReports To: Deputy Director, Technical ServicesKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, implement, integrate, manage, and administer ServiceNow solutions for large enterprise customers.Configure and deliver user stories with minimal supervision, including:Service Catalog and Catalog ItemsRecord ProducersKnowledge Bases and ArticlesNotificationsAdvanced Work Assignment RulesSLA Configurations and WorkflowsDevelop integrations using Integration Hub and relevant Spokes.Build reports and dashboards.Perform unit testing and ensure acceptance criteria are met.Conduct peer reviews and contribute to technical documentation.Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, and platform capabilities.Provide technical coaching and mentorship to junior developers.Support additional technical initiatives as required.Required Qualifications5+ years of software design and development experience.3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including the core platform.Experience delivering multiple ServiceNow implementations within the last two years.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, AngularJS, and CSS.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and across the SDLC.Preferred CertificationsThe ideal candidate will hold:Certified System Administrator (CSA)Certified Application Developer (CAD)At least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certificationsFive ServiceNow micro-certifications (or the ability to obtain these within six months of joining)
