Join us to #IgniteYourCareer!In this role, you will:The Technical Process Operator (TPO) is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the production of plastic trash bags and food storage wrap. TPOs are assigned to one of four departments based on business needs:Conversion - operate bag making and packaging equipmentExtrusion - operate film making, tape slitting, and reclaim production equipmentFood - operate extrusion, forming, winding, and packaging equipmentLogistics - operate fork trucks, palletizers, robots, and trash compacting equipmentAll new employees are hired for night shift (6P - 6A) and work a 2-2-3 schedule including holidays and weekends as required.Starting pay rate is $22.60/hour plus $1.25/hour night shift premium.Essential FunctionsTPOs must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:Operate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating proceduresKeep raw materials, commodities, cartons, cases, and glue stocked during production periodsProcess scrap materials according to proceduresPerform routine and unique mechanical and maintenance tasks in accordance with training levelRemove or replace equipment parts and components with hand toolsTroubleshoot equipment and process failuresConduct equipment set-up changes according to established proceduresComplete required paperwork accuratelyEnter quality and production data into computer systemsPerform housekeeping and work area organization tasksCommunicate safety, quality, and production information to peers and management each dayTrain other TPOsThe position of the Technical Process Operator is considered a safety sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operating a motorized vehicle.What we look for:Only applicants who meet the following minimum qualifications will be considered for employment:At least 18 years oldEligible for legal employment in the USHigh school diploma or equivalentCandidates who have applied within the last 12 months will not be considered at this time.We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we know you don't need a degree to succeed.
