Operations Manager (Part-Time Studio Leadership Role)

StretchLab is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to take a leadership role within the studio and support the Owners in running smooth, high-performing operations. Founded in 2015 in Venice, CA, StretchLab is the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching. Our Flexologists™ come from diverse backgrounds including physical therapy, yoga, Pilates, massage, and fitness. Every Flexologist completes our proprietary training program to ensure a world-class stretching experience.
Role Summary
The Operations Manager serves as the in-studio leadership presence, ensuring daily operations run efficiently, the team feels supported, and every member receives an exceptional experience.
This role is responsible for operational oversight, team coordination, and supporting membership sales and retention efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudio Operations & Leadership
Oversee day-to-day studio operations and maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
Act as the on-site leadership presence, upholding StretchLab standards
Support scheduling flow, session coordination, and general operational needs
Assist with operational tasks such as payroll inputs, reporting, and inventory management
Team Support & Accountability
Help onboard, train, and support Front Desk and Flexologist teams
Reinforce expectations, professionalism, and consistent service delivery
Provide day-to-day support and serve as a resource for staff questions
Lead quick team huddles or check-ins when needed
Membership & Sales Support
Support the Owners in achieving membership sales and retention goals
Monitor lead flow, follow-up processes, and booking quality
Ensure tours, intro sessions, and membership presentations are executed consistently
Assist with escalated member concerns and account support
Member Experience
Maintain a warm, welcoming, community-focused studio atmosphere
Address member concerns with empathy and professionalism
Ensure all studio experiences meet StretchLab quality expectations
Community & Events
Participate in local events, pop-ups, and partnerships
Help strengthen community relationships and build studio visibility
Requirements
Leadership or supervisory experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a similar service environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Comfortable working in a membership-based, performance-driven environment
Proficient computer skills; ClubReady experience is a plus
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Reliable, proactive, calm under pressure, and solutions-oriented
