Software Engineer, Cloud
Overview
In this role you will design and develop cloud services and web applications to manage and analyze data from Hyperfine’s MRI devices at scale. You will collaborate with product, UI/UX, and clinical experts to deliver solutions that enable remote device management, data ingestion, storage, and visualization. The position supports Hyperfine’s mission to transform patient care with accessible diagnostic imaging and a user-friendly cloud experience.

ResponsibilitiesBuild cloud applications with a focus on secure data storage/retrieval and maintainable APIsLearn and apply new tooling and frameworks to develop microservices and APIsAdopt new policies and technologies while evolving existing methodologiesOptimize data pipelines, dashboards, and visualizations for remote device management and analyticsTranslate wireframes into HTML/CSS and collaborate with frontend/full-stack teams to enhance user interactionDevelop medical web applications for large-scale internal and external projects and document designs for regulatory purposesParticipate in code reviews
Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years experience, or Master's in Computer Science with 3+ years experienceExperience building cloud services on AWS, GCP, or AzureBackend web development with Python and solid OOP designBuilding APIs and RESTful services (Node.js, Flask/Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy)Frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactExperience translating requirements into web applications with product/UIUX teamsExperience building data pipelines and dashboards (Tableau, Looker)strong written and verbal communicationcross-functional collaborationquick learnerAWS, GCP, or AzurePython backend developmentNode.js, Flask/Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy
