Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise construction teams, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success by managing resources efficiently, enforcing quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Duties
Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
Develop and implement detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide on-site activities
Monitor daily site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical safety checks
Manage project budgets, track costs, and perform construction estimating to stay within financial targets
Oversee quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards
Coordinate with project managers on procurement, contracts, and change orders to streamline workflow and mitigate delays
Skills
Extensive experience in construction site management with proven supervising skills
Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid
Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling techniques
Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams effectively
Familiarity with contracts administration and negotiation processes
Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
Skilled in using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting on-site
Knowledge of pipeline installation processes is a plus
Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members
