Job Description Job Summary: Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Ensures patients regain and maintain functional independence through customized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities.Design and fabricate splints and orthotic devices based on physician prescriptions.Supervise Assistant / Aide staff to ensure quality care and adherence to treatment protocols.Maintain accurate and timely patient records and progress reports.Use therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance strength, range of motion, and fine motor skills. Qualifications:Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri.Possess at least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in LTC or SNF settings.Demonstrate proficiency in designing treatment plans and fabricating splints.Exhibit strong communication and supervisory skills.Have experience documenting patient progress and maintaining records per industry standards.
