This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on acute stabilization and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment in CSU and inpatient settingsConduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plansManage acute psychiatric crises and provide stabilizationPerform risk assessments and oversee involuntary holds (e.g., 5150)Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and medical staffDocument clinical findings, treatment plans, and interventions accuratelyCommunicate with families and coordinate with community resourcesParticipate in shift handoffs and maintain regulatory complianceSchedule: Flexible schedulingDay, evening, and overnight shifts available8 12 hour shiftsRequirements: MD or DOBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryActive California license (or ability to obtain)Experience in inpatient or acute psychiatric settings preferred
