An established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Manchester is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant looking to work in a modern environment with a strong focus on client relationships and advisory work, alongside a 4 day working week.Key responsibilities: • Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies • Corporation tax returns • VAT returns and bookkeeping • Management accounts and reporting • Reviewing work prepared by offshore team members • Supporting clients with queries and business adviceRequirements: • ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified or part-qualified • Previous experience within an accountancy practice • Strong knowledge of accounts, tax and VAT • Confident managing client relationshipsWhat’s on offer: • 4 day working week (Tuesday to Friday) • Competitive salary • On-site parking • Supportive team environment • Long-term progression opportunities
