At Pinnacle X-Ray Solutions, you will play a key role in the construction and implementation of these mission critical non-destructive testing systems.2    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide robust electrical design for custom x-ray systems which include stand-alone cabinets and vaults, multiple axes custom automation, robot integration and existing system upgrades.Design and prepare electrical drawings for integration of system components which include power distribution, safety control, axis control (rotary and linear encoders), robotic control-safety, x-ray control-safety, PLC controls (part handling, door control, safety logic) and lighting. ·        Prepare bill of materials.·        Manage electrical suppliers which provide CAD electrical drawing generation and electrical panel production.Work with suppliers to make sure they provide quality inspections on critical dimensions as per drawing.·        Understand servo motion control including drive configuration and axis tuning.Calculate required customer supplied power requirements.Provide direct, hands on support to manufacturing during product assembly, testing, troubleshooting and installation.Closely interface with manufacturing to support product assembly, testing, troubleshooting and installation.Interface with project management to ensure projects meet schedule and delivery requirements.Work on multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Participate in internal system design reviews. Provide design and technical support throughout product lifecycle. Work closely with mechanical design and operations team.Provide customer support for electrical technical issues. Willingness to assist with machine tear down at the factory and installation at the customer site.Collaborate with other engineers to develop innovative solutions.3    Entry Qualifications·        Education: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree is preferrable.·        4+ years’ experience·        Able to read and implement electrical drawings for system integration·        Must be a US citizen (No dual citizenship)·        Must have valid driver’s license and have or obtain a US passport4    Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal English communication.Electrical CAD development (E-Plan experience preferred).Ability to select components and work with vendorsSolid understanding of PLC logic control. Understands PLC Ladder logic programming.Experience with servo drives and drive tuningExperience with VFD drives, stepper drives and PID control loops.Experience with industrial robots (Fanuc experience is a plus)Willingness to lead technicians with hands on assistanceAbility to understand and integrate legacy control systemsGood time management skillsSelf-motivatedStrong willingness toward continued learning.Good troubleshooting skills.
